little things

this morning my flatmate greeted me with a cup of coffee. She had been waiting for me to come into the kitchen so she could give it to me. That small, warm gesture has made a huge difference in my day. Such a sweetie!

not much to say

I have been in Sydney for 2 weeks now. I haven't much to tell. I have been going to work and coming home, and trying to get used to it all.

One thing I have learned is that you don't have to speak English to be a nerd. There are people from all around the world working at my job, talking about computer things and being socially awkward with females. In French.
